Perfectly Preserved Day 4

Day 4!  This creation surprised me and has become my favorite!  I started with the corn on the cob and just started building from there.  I love the color combinations (love Daffodil Delight)!  I even added fabric flowers to act as the nest for my corn.  I don't know if you can tell, but I added the corn "silk" to the cob by shredding some white satin ribbon.  SU! colors featured are Daffodil Delight, Island Indigo, and Old Olive.

Supply list:  Perfectly Preserved (of course!), Cannery Framelits, Apothecary Accents Framelits, Floral Frame Framelits (for the fabric flowers), Orchard Harvest Designer Fabric, Perfect Polka Dots Embossing Folder, Brights Designer Buttons, Hemp Twine, and Antique Brads.

Hopefully you too have fallen in love with this set and you need to have it!  If so, you can purchase it online at my stamp store as well as any other products I have (or have not) featured.  Just click on the "Shop Now" button to the left of this post.  Happy Stamping!

Perfectly Preserved Day 3

How do you like Day 3's creation?  I really wanted to create a flower card so this is what I came up with.  SU! colors featured are Marina Mist, Regal Rose, Old Olive, and Daffodil Delight.  The background was created with the Fancy Fan Embossing Folder.  I used Daffodil Delight seaming binding ribbon and white baker's twine on the focal point.  The salutation is from the Bitty Banners set and punched out with the Bitty Banner Framelits die.  I used the Itty Bitty punch pack (flowers) and basic pearls finish off the look.

Perfectly Preserved Day 2

This is my second creation with the Perfectly Preserved set!  This is a peek-a-boo card that I had a blast making!  I am loving these Framelits Dies!
I am not sure if you can tell by the photo, but I punched out the jar frame on the front of the card through both layers of paper (Whisper White CS and Polka Dot Parade DSP).  The second photo shows the apple-filled jar stamped on the inside of the card.  Stampin' Up! colors featured are Real Red, Old Olive, and Regal Rose.  The fabric used to tie on the jar is from the new Holiday Mini called Orchard Harvest Designer Fabric found on page 30.  Enjoy!

Perfectly Preserved Day 1

Meet my new favorite set: Perfectly Preserved!  I am in love!
This beauty can be found in the new Holiday Mini Catalog on page 29.  It has coordinating Cannery Framelits Dies and Designer Series Paper and the best part is you can get the Perfectly Preserved Bundle (the stamp set and the Cannery Framelits Dies) for 15% off when purchased in the bundle; clear-mount bundle $38.95 and wood-mount $44.95.
This is my very first crack at this awesome set!  The background is created with the new Textured Impressions Embossing Folder called "Woodgrain" also found in the Holiday Mini on page 33.  Stampin' Up! colors featured are Old Olive, More Mustard, Pumpkin Pie, Tangerine Tango, and Rich Razzleberry.

A baby boy named Miles

A friend of mine, Mabel, asked if I would make a personalized frame with the name of her soon-to-be-born grandson named Miles and this is what I came up with.
The stamps I used are from the new Ronald McDonald House Charity set called "Moving Forward" found on the back inside cover of your catalog.  Did you know that each time one of these sets are purchased Stampin' Up! donates $3 to RMHC?
I also used the Typeset Alphabet Bigz Die for the I-L-E-S.  The "M" is from a retired alphabet chipboard pack that I inked in Basic Black ink.  The background paper, waves, and top border are from the retired Simply Scrappin' set called Rock-A-Bye Boy.  This is why I LOVE the Simply Scrappin' line;  they are so user friendly and can be used in so many different ways!

Stamp-A-Stack Revisited

I am a little late in posting about my first Stamp-A-Stack.  I was so busy having fun that I forgot to take pictures of my guests stamping away!  I did manage, however, to get a photo of all the project baskets before they were claimed.  I also made buttery sugar cookies so that I could try out my new Sweet Pressed Cookie Stamps found on page 161 in the catty and, of course, forgot to take a pic.  A big "Thanks" to all the ladies that came to this event!  I so appreciate your support to my business! ♥♥♥
