On A Personal Note...

My sweet son, Tyler, turned 16!  Here is a pic of his special day!  Also a pic of him with his mother (yours truly) and his father (my sweet, David!).
We were in Utah for his birthday so he got to spend it with his grandparents, uncles, aunts, and many cousins.

Stampin' Up! Convention 2012

These lovelies are my swaps for this year's Stampin' Up! convention.  Sorry, they aren't the greatest photos, but I am glad that I remembered to get photos of them before they were all gone.

#Convention 2012 was a blast and I came home with sooo many ideas that I can't wait to share them with you!  The theme for this years convention was "I am....".  I got to attend some fabulous classes such as:

I Am Saavy taught by Dawn Griffith, Laura Milligan, and Meg Wheeler.
I Am Doing Business "My Way" taught by Bonnie Thurber, Rhonda Wade, and Tami White.
I Am Reaching Out taught by Emily Montoya.
I Am Open For Business taught by Carrie Cudney.
I Am Having Fun taught by Shannon West.
I Am Making Money taught by Pam Morgan.

Every single class was fantastic and very informative!

There is still a few spots left for my Stamp-A-Stack class happening this Saturday.  Contact me asap to reserve your spot.

A Personlized Wedding Card

My cousin, Brandon and his lovely wife, Jaimi where married on June 16th.  I wanted to make them a special card that used the colors of their wedding invite, Night of Navy and Calypso Coral.  Here is what I came up with:

I used the retired SU! set called Always.

What a Dad!

Can you believe it?  My very own hand-crafted card display!

My father, Don, is the genius behind this contraption.  A few weeks ago we had an event at church with our ladies group called the Relief Society and the focus was on talents.  I wanted to display my cards that I had made, but had no good way of displaying them.  That's where my brilliant father comes into the picture.  I called him on the phone and told him as best as I could what I was hoping he could make for me.  He had no picture to go by, but 4 hours after talking to him at his shop, he appeared at my door step with this beauty.  It is about 3 1/2 feet long and 2 1/2 feet high!

A Little Behind...(again)

Pinwheel Card- features our new hostess set called "Happy You" and the adorable Floral District DSP.

Blossom Card- features our wonderful new set called "Betsy's Blossoms" and the new stitched grosgrain ribbon in Daffodil Delight.  (this is a total CASE from Ilina Crouse...she deserves all the credit)

I am looking for new members for my next Stampers' 10 Club.  I hope to start in August or September.  Let me know if you are interested!
