Stampers' 10- Livin' On A Brayer :0)!

I know these blog post titles are corny!  (just go with it)

I wanted to challenge the girls this time and teach them a few new techniques with the brayer.  Check out what we made.

The first card  features the Mixed Bunch set, Blossom punch, and Top Note Die.  After we embossed our Whisper White CS with the Petals-A-Plenty embossing folder, we brayered Poppy Parade ink over the embossed image.  It really made that embossed background pop!  I also love that the Blossom punch can double as the leaves of the flower as well (I used Wild Wasabi).

This next card was a little more advanced.  It features a Stampin' Up! "oldie but a goodie" Lovely As A Tree.  We used the brayer to create beautiful blended colors as well as the reverse image of the trees (you can also use the Stamp-a-ma-jig to do this).  We used the Music Notes wheel stamp to create a harmonious background. Did you notice that both cards use the set Kindness Matters?  It is free with a $50 purchase now until March 30th!  My thanks to Michelle Zindorf for the inspiration on this second card.
